Lok Sabha Elections 2024: PM Modi calls Congress 'anti-Hindu,' says it does not care about country

Addressing an election rally in Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha constituency, he said the 'shehzade' of Congress (Rahul Gandhi) started off with 'mohabbat ki dukaan' before polls which lost steam as elections approached.

Hyderabad: Accusing the Congress as racist to the core, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Telangana on Friday said the grand old party wants to make Hindus second-class citizens in their own country. He also asked if the Congress party wants to establish Aurangzeb's rule in India.

Modi on Friday addressed two election rallies - at Mahbubnagar and Hyderabad - in Telangana.

“Congress is racist to the core. The mentors of the Shehzaada are calling the people of the country Chinese, African. Congress has a mindset of dividing people. They don't consider our country as one. Therefore, you need to be careful of Congress and the INDI bloc. Shehzaada is taught these sorts of dangerous ideas, and his tutor also said that constructing the Ram Mandir and celebrating Ram Navami are against the idea of India,” Modi said in Hyderabad.

In Mahbubnagar, PM Modi said, “They have said that the people of South India are Africans. They think the people of Telangana look African. Do you know why? Because they don't like the color of your skin. Who is African, and who is Indian? Now Congress will decide this based on our colour. Congress hates Hindus and Hindu festivals so much, this is becoming evident every day. The leader who gave tuition to the Shehzada has also said that the Ram temple should not have been built in Ayodhya. He has announced that building the Ram temple and celebrating Ram Navami is against the Idea of India. When I go to the temple, they have also called it anti-national. Congress wants to make Hindus second-class citizens in their own country. Do these people want to establish Aurangzeb's rule in India? Is this why they are talking about vote jihad?”

He also accused Congress and its allies of doing appeasement politics. Modi added therefore, the AIMIM has been given free hand in Hyderabad.

“Congress and BRS don't want to celebrate Hyderabad Liberation Day due to the fear of the vote bank. However, BJP wants to free Hyderabad from this fear. The Central Government has decided to celebrate Hyderabad Liberation Day on the September 17 of every year,” he added.

Talking about reservations of ST and BC, Modi said, Congress was trying to give reservations based on religion to Muslims instead of SC, ST and BC. “People of Telangana know very well how Congress started playing the game of Muslim reservation in united Andhra Pradesh. Now they want to do the same conspiracy in the whole country. Will you let Congress snatch reservations from SC, ST, and BC? That's why you need to remember. ‘Vanchit Ka Jo Adhikaar Hai, Modi Uska Chaukidar Hai.’ No one can snatch your rights in Modi's guardianship,” he said.

He also said that Congress in Telangana came to power after making poll guarantess. But after it formed the government, it became nothing but the 'Photo Copy' of BRS, he alleged. “The loot which the BRS did in years, Congress 'managed' to do it within a few months,” he said.
