Voting for Maharashtra took place in a single phase, on November 20.

Counting of votes is under way for 288 Assembly constituencies in Maharashtra and 81 Assembly seats in Jharkhand. Vote counting began on 8 am on November 23, and the fates of hundreds of candidates hang in the balance.

Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Mangal Lodha is contesting the Maharashtra Assembly elections from the Malabar Hills seat.
