<p>Never in recent times has a story on relationship tangles thrown up a string of surprises as this one. Right from director Dayal, everyone acquits him/herself well in “Sriharikathe”. The director’s treatment of a theme that’s been done to death earlier is refreshing to say the least. However, what stands the film in good stead is acting. Srimurali, in a soft role in a long time, endears himself all over again. Except during the errant-husband-heading-off-his- suspicious-wife act, Murali relies on his natural abilities than stock mannerisms. <br /><br />Chubby Radhika delivers the next surprise. An innocent babe uncomfortable shedding her skin to get into other characters, Pooja’s sister seems to have understood what’s required of her. A pleasing turn here. Pooja takes a backseat, letting go of histrionics and providing relief to the eyes. <br /><br />The biggest disappointment comes from watching Navin Krishna - why is this actor still on the sidelines? If the leisurely pace can be tolerated, “Sriharikathe” is an easy favourite pastime.</p>
