Two strangers, dejected with life, come across each other at a New York bridge to end their lives. But they can’t do so even after attempting five times. Here Miss Anjaani – Kiara (Priyanka Chopra) tells Mr Anjaana – Akash (Ranbir Kapoor) that it’s some science which is responsible for their meeting at the bridge and behind their unsuccessful suicide attempts... this one’s a beauty with brain! They enter into a suicide pact, deciding to spend 20 days together till the last day of 2009. In these 20 days, Akash loses his virginity (thanks to Kiara) and also his boxers in the middle of a sea, while Kiara parties hard in Las Vegas.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, “Anjaana Anjaani” does not offer anything new. The story is more or less predictable.

It has some comic moments. The highlight is the fantastic chemistry between Ranbir and Priyanka. Even the songs, especially the title song and ‘tujko bhula diya hai’ are awesome. But the predictable storyline spoils the good work done by the actors. Even the length of the movie leaves the audience yawning. If only Akash and Kiara had decided to live for 10 days, instead of 20...!
