<p>The annual Fish Prasadam distribution will take place on from 6 pm on 8 till 6 pm on 9 June this year at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally here. The free Prasadam which is distributed on Mrigasirakarte day by Bathini Harinath Goud brothers and family members is believed to cure upper lung infections and Asthma.</p>.<p>“This year there will be a 30% increase in people attending the camp. The reason is ever-increasing pollution in the air leading to lung-related ailments,” Harinath Goud said. He said that the Chief Secretary of the Telangana government has held a review meeting with concerned officials to provide all possible help for smooth distribution of the prasadam for which people reach here in large numbers from different parts of the country. In all, there will be 42 counters for smooth distribution of the Prasadam.</p>.<p>The fishery department is also gearing up to supply “Murrel” fishlings near the venue. The patients seeking medicine have to purchase the fishlings and stand in line. The Bathini family members then will stuff the fish with the prasadam which must be swallowed right away. For vegetarians, the Bathini family suggests Jaggery instead. After taking the medicine one must follow the strict dietary regulation suggested by the Bathini brothers.</p>.<p>Patients also have to take separate prasadam which is in the form of pills which must be taken on three different dates, Arudra (23 June), Punarvasu (8 July) and Pushyami (23 July).</p>
