<p>Children fell sick after an incident of chlorine gas leakage occurred in a swimming pool academy at Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh on December 8. </p>.<p>Gas leakage happened due to old equipment at the academy and the students were rushed to the hospital. “Due to leakage of chlorine gas in the swimming pool, 10-12 students aged between 8-14 years fell ill and were sent to the hospital. </p>.<p>The gas leakage happened due to old equipment and old gas cylinder. It was controlled later. All students are stable now,” said the swimming pool academy supervisor.<br /> </p>
