On the political turmoil in Punjab, Congress General Secretary Randeep Surjewala on October 2 said that “If a Chief Minister loses the trust of MLAs he should step down from the post.”
.
Surjewala also said if Congress wouldn’t have changed the Punjab CM then it would’ve been called a “dictatorship” as many MLAs in the state wanted a new CM.
.
“When a CM loses MLAs' trust, he should step down from the post. Out of 79, 78 MLAs had written that CM should be changed. If we wouldn't have changed the CM, it would've been termed as dictatorship,” said Surjewala.
