"Asking the son and daughter to leave his house means he has accepted their wrongdoings," Congress leader Rajiv Shukla told reporters outside Parliament.

He alleged, "It hardly makes any difference whether sons or daughters are living with him or they are living in other house because they have got so many houses in Bangalore after minting so much money."

Despite the Congress and even a section of BJP seeking Yeddyurappa's ouster for alleged nepotism and corruption, the Karnataka Chief Minister has managed to stay put.

Reiterating the resignation demand, Shukla said, "he (Yeddyurappa) should step down because he is facing serious corruption charges."

Aiming at deflecting accusations of nepotism after saving his chair, Karnataka Yeddyurappa has asked his son and daughter to shift from his official residence in Bangalore.

Yeddyurappa came under attack from the opposition for denotifying lands favouring his two sons, son-in-law and allotment of land to her daughter.
