<div align="justify">All the 30 students from Super 30 cracked the prestigious Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Advanced, on Sunday, thereby clearing the decks for their entry into any of the 23 IITs in the country.<br /><br />Super-30 founder and Maths wizard Anand Kumar runs a coaching institute in Patna where he grooms 30 extremely poor students and helps them crack the IIT entrance examination.<br /><br />On Sunday, one such student was Kelvin whose father Deepak is an unemployed person. To make both ends meet, Deepak these days teaches yoga, but the earning is not enough. “The only way out to get rid of poverty is through education. I had heard of Super 30 and Anand Sir. It was a dream which has now been filfilled by my son,” he said, trying to control his emotions.<br /><br />Another student Arbaz Alam was equally ecstatic. His father sells eggs as a road-side vendor in Biharsharif. But on Sunday he was on cloud nine when he heard about his son’s stupendous success.<br /><br />At Super 30, it is only the education which matters to these 30 students whom Anand selects after written test. “We sit, eat and sleep together solving problems. A healthy competition amongst us sharpens our thinking ability,” said Arjun, whose father is a farm labourer.<br /><br />“Every year, I select these 30 meritorious students – mostly from poor families and grooms them for IIT. The students who stay with me are provided free food, stay and lodging,” said Anand, who never accepts any donation from anyone. He says he has refused financial aid from top industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Anand Mahindra. Anand bears the expenses from his income which he earns from his another institute Ramanujam School of Mathematics, run here in the State Capital. <br /><br />On Sunday, Anand averred it was high time the Super 30 was expanded. “Time has come for expansion of Super 30 though it would be a challenge considering my limited resources,” he told Deccan Herald. “In the days to come, we will organise tests in different parts of the country after giving detailed information about it on the website,” the Maths wizard told DH.<br /><br />Meanwhile, former DGP Abhayanand, who runs a similar institute ‘Abhayanand Super 30’ was quite elated on Sunday as one of his students and an IIT aspirant Shashi Kumar was the Bihar topper with 258th rank. Another boy from Bihar’s Begusarai, Arsh Gautam achieved an All India rank of 72. Arsh, who studied in New Delhi, took coaching from Narayana Institute, Dwarka in the national capital.<br /></div>
