<p>New Delhi: In yet another setback to AAP leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, the Supreme Court has rejected his review petition against an order, rejecting his plea for bail in the money laundering case connected to the Delhi excise policy scam.</p><p>A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and S V N Bhatti also declined an open court hearing and held that no grounds of review were made out.</p><p>The court also rejected his plea for an oral hearing of the review petitions.</p><p>According to SC Rules, a review petition is decided in the judge's chamber through the circulation of documents.</p><p>"We have carefully perused the review petitions and also the grounds in support thereof. In our opinion, no case for review of the judgment dated October 30 is made. The review petitions are, accordingly, dismissed," the bench said in its order passed on December 13.</p><p>Sisodia filed the review petition challenging the apex court's order denying him bail in the money-laundering case connected to the Delhi excise policy scam.</p><p>On October 30, the court dismissed two bail pleas by Sisodia, relying upon the CBI's claim that the liquor policy, now scrapped, facilitated getting kickbacks or bribes from the wholesale distributors having substantial market share and turnover.</p><p>Sisodia, 51, was arrested by the CBI on February 26, 2023.</p>
