Haryana Assembly Elections 2024 | AAP's Raghav Chadha pens poem in dig at Congress after poll debacle

AAP failed to open their account in Haryana, and while Congress was predicted to sweep the state according to exit polls, and did look set to do so in the early trends, the BJP took over quickly and ended up with 48 seats.

AAP MP Raghav Chadha on Tuesday penned a poem on X, dedicated to Congress and their alliance with AAP that the hand ditched during the Haryana assembly elections. This comes after Congress' shock defeat in the state.

In his post he wrote. "If you had cared about my wishes, it would have been a different matter,

If you had taken care of our desires, it would have been a different evening

Today he too must be regretting leaving me,

If we had walked together it would have been something else"

Congress was predicted to sweep Haryana according to the exit polls, and did look set to do so in the early trends. But BJP took over quickly and ended up with 48 seats. Congress in the end, managed to get only 37 seats. AAP, meanwhile, failed to open their account at all.
