Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the G7 Summit in Hiroshima. Ahead of his visit, India’s Ambassador to Japan on May 18 said that he is looking forward to PM Modi’s visit. He said “We look forward to the visit of honourable PM, starting tomorrow to Hiroshima.

He is going to participate in the G7 summit and also for bilateral meeting. Few other meetings are scheduled.” Further, he said, “There is an excellent relationship between the two countries (India and Japan).

It is a special strategic and global partnership established during the visit of PM Modi in 2014 with his counterpart, the then Japan PM Abe and now, with current PM Kishida, this relationship is getting reinforced.”
