The aid has been sent by Tamil diaspora in Europe through an NGO called “Act Now”. The ship had arrived in Chennai last week after it was turned away by the Lankan Navy. “The Sri Lankan delegation agreed to our suggestion and these would now be routed to Sri Lanka through the Indian Red Cross,” said Krishna.</p>
