Adityanath said the Congress government in the state had failed to undertake desilting work in the Tungabhadra dam, which would have helped a large number of farmers with a higher flow of water from the reservoir.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Instead, the government was hand-in-glove with the sand mafia, Adityanath said. He demanded that the government should celebrate the Jayantis of Krishnadevaraya, Hanuman and Shivaji.</p>
