<p>Four persons were injured when a part of the earth caved in on them while they were working at a construction site at Kundalahalli Gate on Wednesday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The injured have been identified as Basha (49), Nazeer Baig (42) and two others. The residents of the locality had filed a complaint with the HAL police against the construction firm for carrying out<br />blasts. The BBMP is also said to have issued them a notice asking them to stop the work.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The police said that despite warnings, construction continued and the site was excavated for nearly 50<br />feet, leading to the cave-in.</p>.<p class="bodytext">A shop on the footpath also collapsed into the pit.</p>
