<p>The Anekal police have arrested a 70-year-old retired senior geologist for distributing pamphlets at the 3rd Additional Sessions Court, which had obscene, derogatory and defamatory content against a sitting judge.</p>.<p>The pamphlets contained threats to kill the judge by pouring acid on him.</p>.<p>The arrested, Krishna Reddy, was spotted by the Bidadi police and the court duty staff present on the premises on Thursday morning and was caught red-handed with the pamphlets. The pamphlets had the name and the designation of the judge with obscene pornographic content. The Anekal police rushed to the spot and arrested him.</p>.<p>Preliminary investigation revealed that the judge had earlier pronounced an order against Reddy over a cheque bounce case while he worked as a senior geologist with the mines and geology department. Reddy objected to his order and started openly showing his displeasure towards the judge.</p>.<p>The judge was also apprised of the incident, and on behalf of the judge, a first division assistant lodged a complaint with the Anekal police, who are investigating. Reddy was booked under several sections of the IPC, including criminal intimidation, and under sections of the IT Act.</p>
