Metrolife got in touch with the singer, just prior to the concert, as he spoke about his musical journey, his upcoming collaborations and more.</p>.<p class="Question"><strong>Tell us about your music journey so far.</strong><br />‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ was my first big hit and there has been no looking back since then. Things have been crazy until now and I hope it continues to be the same in the future.</p>.<p class="Question"><strong>What are your views on the singing reality shows? Do you think they serve their original purpose?</strong><br />Well, I don’t know if they are used properly or not, but I think any kind of talent exposure is good. If getting on a stage increases your confidence, then , why not?</p>.<p class="Question"><strong>Tell us about your recent collaborations.</strong><br />The song ‘Rappan Rappi Rap’ from the film ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’ is my most recent project. There’s also another collaboration with the famous ‘Dancing uncle’ and UAE based artist Jasim. The song is called ‘Chacha Naach’. There are many other upcoming projects apart from these.</p>.<p class="Question"><strong>You are a regular visitor to Bengaluru. Few thoughts about the crowd.</strong><br />I like the student crowd the most here. They are lively and full of energy. They, in turn, bring out the best in us.</p>.<p class="Question"><strong>What is your advice to upcoming singers?</strong><br />Apart from being a good musician, having a unique personality also becomes an important criteria. And, if you are trained in any form of classical music, it is an added advantage.<br /> </p>
