Bengaluru: Metro services were briefly affected on the Purple Line on Thursday evening after a branch fell on the viaduct, affecting train movement.
Trainset number 23 moved in caution from the up-ramp after it left the Cubbon Park metro station after the tree fall was noticed on the walkway at 4:51 pm.
It was subsequently cleared and train operations were restored to normal at 5.05 pm, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) said.
