It plans to bring motorcycle taxis, the kind you may have seen in Goa, to the City. <br /><br />Heytaxi has 27 registered riders in the city and is planning to induct more in the coming weeks. From January, the service will be available at a base fare of Rs 20 for first 2 kms and Rs 7 per Km after that. It is also running a promotional campaign this month offering two free rides to customers up to 5 Kilometers.</p>.<p>The app based service is already functioning in Mumbai and Hyderabad. Besides requesting a ride, customers can also request riders to pick up and drop parcels. The taxi service in Bengaluru, however, will be initially available only to men due to safety reasons.</p>.<p>Heytaxi sees good potential for growth in Bengaluru as its charges are cheaper than auto fare.
