It’s that time of the year when Keralites celebrate Onam with a lot of gusto. Bonsouth, Koramangala is offering an Onam feast from September 2 to 6. In the festive season, the restaurant will welcome the spirit of King Maveli with its huge array of signature dishes prepared by chef Manu Nair and his team.
To name a few, among the starters, you can enjoy ‘pazham puri’ -- Kerala banana fritters and the ‘parippu vada’ lentil ‘patties’ fried to perfection.
In the main course, the signature dishes of Onam, like ‘olan’ and ‘avial’ can be had along with ‘puzhukal arrichoru’, which is the traditional red rice from Kerala. The icing on the cake is the dessert spread which includes ‘parippu payasam’, ‘paal adapradaman’ and the mouth watering ‘pazham purungidu’ steamed Kerala bananas glazed with honey.
The Onam buffet would cost Rs 764 plus taxes. Bonsouth is located at 131,1st Cross, Koramangla 5th Block, Jyoti Nivas College Road.
