<p>A seminar on 'Emerging Practices - Enterprise Risk Management' was held at Sindhi College on Wednesday. </p>.<p>Organised by the college's management department, the seminar was attended by management and commerce students, business experts, chartered accountants and leading academicians from across the country. </p>.<p>Setting the tone for the seminar with his keynote address, Shravan Guduthur, Chairman, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Bengaluru branch, said governance, risk management and compliance helped in achieving the set objectives and cited the example of the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica scam. </p>.<p>Noted scholar Mohammed Siddiqui elaborated on concepts, principles, processes and applications of enterprise risk management, besides giving insight into the identification of risks and proactively addressing them and gaining opportunities to create value for the stakeholders. </p>.<p>The seminar was attended by Madan Doulatram, president, Sindhi Seva Samiti; Rajkumar Kukreja, member, Board of Management; B S Srikanta, principal; N Asha, vice principal; heads of departments and faculty members of the college.</p>
