<p>Bengaluru: A serial accident on Tuesday morning led to the death of a woman and her 7-year-old son near the Horamavu bus stop on the Outer Ring Road in the northern part of the city.</p><p>The mishap, that also injured four others, was between a stationary BMTC bus, an autorickshaw, a motorcycle and an SUV.</p><p>Around 10.10 am, a BMTC bus (KA 57 F 3363) had stopped to pick commuters at the bus stop near the Horamavu underpass when an autorickshaw speeding behind it crashed into its right side. The front of the autorickshaw was completely crushed as a result.</p>.Patient dies after ambulance collides with truck in Bengaluru.<p>Arjun Bisht (23) and his wife Khama Bisht (22) were travelling in the autorickshaw from Sadananda Nagar towards Sanjay Nagar when the accident took place. Arjun and the auto driver – who is the accused – sustained several injuries due to the impact. Khama was reportedly seven months pregnant and was rushed to the hospital as she sustained injuries to her stomach.</p><p>Behind the autorickshaw was a motorcycle with Andhra Pradesh natives Naresh (35), his wife Aswini (29) and their seven-year-old son Nidimamidi Yashwin.</p><p>A Mahindra Bolero SUV behind them noticed the crash and swerved right to avoid crashing into the autorickshaw. In doing so, the driver hit the handle of the motorcycle, causing the three occupants to fall.</p><p>Naresh sustained minor injuries, but his wife and son riding pillion suffered severe head injuries. Both of them were taken to different hospitals but died after failing to respond to treatment.</p><p>Banaswadi traffic police registered an FIR against the drivers of both the autorickshaw and the SUV under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.</p>
