Anilkumar Udkar, working at the Nokia unit, was robbed of his gold chain, weighing 40 gms, Rs 4,000 and debit card. The incident occurred late last night when Udkar alighted from a maxi-cab after office hours near his residence.
The two on the pretext of enquiring about an address, assaulted him with the helmet and fled the scene after robbing him of his valuables, police said. Later, they used Anil's debit card and purchased articles worth Rs 20,000. A case has been registered.
