<p>Trying new things comes easily for actor Suraj Gowda. Take any of his movies and he will be seen portraying an entirely different role in it. He is excited about a cameo role in ‘Daughter of Parvathamma’, which is also Harripriya’s 25th film. In a candid chat with Tini Sara Anien, he talks about her role in the film and more.</p>.<p><strong>Tell us about your role in ‘Daughter of Parvathamma’.</strong></p>.<p>I play an extended cameo in the film. I play Shastry, the love interest of Harripriya and a college student who hails from a Brahmin family, which is shown as a flashback. I am almost done with the shoot and looking forward to how the audience will react to me. </p>.<p><strong>Are you excited to be a part of this project? </strong></p>.<p>There are multiple reasons, I am super-thrilled about this project. The film which is directed by Shankar is a special movie for Harripriya and I am glad to be in it. Also, my role gives a significant twist to the script. </p>.<p><strong>Did you have to do any homework for this role?</strong></p>.<p>(Smiles) I have to look like a college boy, which I did not have to work much on. </p>.<p><strong>You’ve always played lead roles. Are you alright doing cameo roles?</strong></p>.<p>This is the first time I am playing a cameo but the project is worth it. It was an interesting role and I think when the role is justified, the screentime does not come into consideration. My character plays a pivotal role and changes the course of the story. </p>.<p><strong>What about </strong><strong>Harripriya</strong><strong> is most impressive?</strong></p>.<p>Her outstanding performance with her natural style of acting is what makes her stand apart. She does each role with a lot of ease. </p>.<p><strong>Something you have picked up from her...</strong></p>.<p>She does things effortlessly and I am trying to be like that. </p>.<p><strong>What else is happening at your end?</strong></p>.<p>The second schedule of ‘Amar Chitra Katha’ starts soon. The film is a thriller and a mass-film. This is the first time people will see me in an aggressive avatar. I am in a happy space as I am trying different things and not limiting myself as an artiste. I will also be seen in a new project which is about live-in relationships, which will be a first-of-its-kind. It will be a new experience for me. </p>.<p><strong>You are an actor with no fixed patterns. What is something new you want to try?</strong></p>.<p>I want to do a biopic. Something on those lines should happen by next year. I have my fingers crossed and am pretty positive about it. This movie will be a gamechanger. </p>
