Waterlogging in Bengaluru after late-night showers

Bengaluru: Late-night showers on Wednesday flooded several roads in the city, especially in the east. 

Salem railway bridge on the Outer Ring Road, Siddapura in Whitefield, Vittal Mallya Road, Khoday's underpass towards Anand Rao Circle, Nagavara Junction and Hunasamaranahalli were among the worst-affected due to heavy waterlogging. 

The downpour also caused leaks in metro stations, with MG Road and Indiranagar stations' platforms and concourse areas seeing water pools.
