The petition described the formation of the group as illegal and unconstitutional and said the BMPC should be declared the only committee authorised for planning Bengaluru. </p>.<p class="bodytext">The court orally observed that the government should allow statutory bodies to work but can always call upon experts for advice. </p>.<p class="bodytext">The court said the existence of Vision Group that was not formed under law despite the existence of the BMPC would only cause confusion. The formation of such a group is not required, it observed. </p>.<p class="bodytext">When the government counsel sought time until Monday to explain the stand, the court asked him to give the response on Friday. </p>.<p class="bodytext">The court adjourned the hearing until Friday. </p>
