<p>Congress MLA from Vijayanagar (Hospet), who was injured in a brawl with Kampli MLA J N Ganesh in a resort in Badadi, was on Thursday diagnosed with fractures around his eyes. Meanwhile, in a purported Facebook post, Ganesh sought to shift the blame on Singh for the incident.</p>.<p>Singh, who is also being treated for injuries to his ribs and chest at Apollo Hospital, was taken to Narayana Nethralaya for treatment to his eye injuries. Dr K Bhujang Shetty, chairman and MD of the hospital, said the bone around the right eye was fractured because of which the MLA has developed double vision.</p>.<p>“The bone surrounding the right eyeball is fractured resulting in the double vision at certain angles. Besides, there is also some external bleeding which will take 10-5 days to heal. Both the eyelids are swollen because of the injury but that has not caused any harm to his eyesight. He made me sit on the floor and declared that he had ensured my defeat during the previous election. He subjected me to verbal abuse and caste-based discrimination.
