<p>Chaitra Kundapur, who was remanded in judicial custody for assaulting Sullia taluk Hindu Jagarana Vedike Secretary Guruprasad Panja, was admitted to Wenlock Hospital on Friday. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Sullia JMFC court had remanded Chaitra and her associates in judicial custody until November 3. She was lodged in the district jail.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“As she suffered from severe fever she was admitted to Wenlock Hospital,’’ sources in the district jail said. </p>.<p class="bodytext">In a video posted on facebook, Chaitra is seen clarifying on the incident that took place in Kukke Subrahmanya.</p>.<p class="bodytext">She claimed that she had pushed Guruprasad for self-protection.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“Guruprasad Panja and Ashith Kallaje had posted derogatory comments on Facebook. I ignored it and kept silent. But Panja and his associates waylaid my car when I was on way to Samputa Narasimhaswamy Mutt. When I alighted from the car, Panja and his associates assaulted me. Thus, I had to push him,” she said.</p>
