<p class="bodytext">Green City Forum Convener Kukkera Jaya Chinnappa called upon the residents to keep their surroundings clean. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Speaking at a cleanliness jatha organised by Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan Kodagu Vidyalaya here at Madikeri on Wednesday, he said the Central government has been focusing on cleanliness and sanitation.</p>.<p class="bodytext">There is a need to ensure that all the households have toilet facilities. The residents should keep their surroundings clean, he added.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The students of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavana Kodagu Vidyalaya and General K S Thimayya Public School participated in the jatha.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The jatha was carried out from Gandhi Maidan and passed through Raja Seat Road to KSRTC bus stand. Handbills were distributed among the public.</p>
