<p>Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy is likely to meet Congress president Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi on October 6 to discuss the expansion of his Cabinet.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Sources in the JD(S) said the chief minister was keen on filling up all seven vacancies in the council of ministers.</p>.<p class="bodytext">This, according to him, will not only placate disgruntled leaders in the Congress, but also help in running the government effectively.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The state Congress leaders, including Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (PKCC) president Dinesh Gundu Rao and former chief minister Siddaramaiah, are also likely to meet Rahul by this weekend to finalise candidates to be accommodated in the Cabinet, sources in the Congress said.</p>
