<p>The coffee land will host a two-day state-level women’s literary fest from March 2.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The literary fest being organised by Kannada Sahitya Parishat will be inaugurated by Department of Kannada and Culture director K M Janaki at Kuvempu Kalamandira at 10.30 am on March 2.</p>.<p class="bodytext">President of Women’s literary fest and Infosys Foundation chairperson, Sudha Murty, who will preside over the convention, will be brought in a procession at 9 am. The procession will start from Ganapathy temple in M G Road and will reach Kalamandira, where the formal programme will be held. Cultural troupes will be part of the procession.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Kannada Sahitya Parishat president Dr Manu Baligar will preside over the formal inaugural programme.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Sessions on ‘Women’s perspective of Kannada literature’, ‘Contribution of Women to Literature’ and ‘Women and Literary Movement’ are planned for the next two days. A poetess’ meet will be conducted on the occasion. Valedictory programme and felicitation to achievers is planned at 4.30 pm on March 3.</p>.<p class="bodytext">MLC S L Dharmegowda, writer Rajeshwari Tejashwi, ZP president Sujata Krishnappa, CMC president Shilpa Rajashekhar and Karnataka Lekhakiyara Sangha president Vanamala Sampannakumar will take part.</p>
