<p>Belagavi: A Congress leader was hacked to death after being assaulted by group of about six to seven masked persons at Khilegaon village in Athani taluk on Wednesday evening.</p><p>The deceased has has been identified as 58-year-old Annappa Basappa Nimbal. He was Chairman of PKPS, Khilegaon.</p>.Upset over of poor civic facilities, Udupi village decides to boycott Lok Sabha polls.<p>According to the Athani police, a group of about six to seven persons attacked Nimbal with sharp weapons and murdered him.</p><p>Police are further investigating the case.</p>
