<p>“There are three chief ministers in the state in H D Kumaraswamy, H D Deve Gowda and H D Revanna and that the Congress ministers have been reduced to being clerks,” BJP leader K S Eshwarappa said on Monday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Eshwarappa, who is leading a BJP drought assessment team, told reporters here, “The coalition government has indulged in transfer business. More than 700 officials have been transferred. Public Works Minister himself has claimed that he was behind the transfer of 573 officials. Files sent by Congress legislators U T Khader and Ivan D’Souza, seeking transfer of officials, are languishing in Chef Minister’s Office,” he charged.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“The High Court of Karnataka has reprimanded the state government over transfer business. The court had warned the government of bringing the issue to the notice of the President,” he said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“The Congress could not come to power on its own after 2018 Assembly elections because of the caste politics played by Siddaramaiah. He tried to divide Veerashaiva-Lingayat community and started Tipu Jayanti celebrations for votes. But those moves backfired for the Congress,” Eshwarappa alleged.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He demanded the state government to release Rs 1,743 crore to compensate the crop loss suffered by the farmers in kharif season.</p>
