<p class="bodytext">The Dattamala Abhiyana by Sri Rama Sene commenced in Chikkamagaluru on Monday. The devotees wore Dattamala at Kamadhenu Mahashakti Ganapathi Temple in Chikkamagaluru. </p>.<p class="bodytext">The devotees sang Bhajans on Dattatreya and later offered puja to the portrait of Guru Dattatreya. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Sri Rama Sene state vice president Kattinamane Mahesh Kumar, district president Ranjith Shetty wore Dattamala and they will observe vrath for seven days. </p>.<p class="bodytext">The devotees who have worn Dattamala will offer bhajan daily at the temple. They will seek alms from three houses before leaving for Datta Peetha. </p>.<p class="bodytext">The shobhayatra of Dattamala Abhiyana will be held on October 28 from Kamadhenu Mahashakthi Ganapathi Temple and will pass through Hanumanthappa Circle, M G Road before culminating at Azad Park.</p>
