<p>Deputy Commissioners of Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan and Chamarajanagar, visited villages under ‘Jilladhikari Nade Halliyakade’ programme on Saturday.</p>.<p>The officers received grievances related to the Revenue Department from the villagers.</p>.<p>Mysuru DC Rohini Sindhuri visited Tarikallu village in Hunsur taluk. The DC received 685 applications and disposed of 625 of them. While 261 people raised complaints in connection with Aadhaar card, 161 applications were related to pension. Other applications include, Aadhaar card, ration card, burial grounds.</p>.<p>The DC also visited Government higher Primary school and taught mathematics for students. The DC also directed the teachers to conduct classes effectively.</p>.<p>Mandya DC S Ashwathi visited Shilanere in K R Pet taluk. The programme helps to understand the problems of the people, the DC said. The villagers raised issues in connection with bus service, water issue and hospital issues among the others.</p>.<p>Hassan DC R Girish visited Hettur in Sakleshpur taluk and the programme aims to resolve people’s issue at their door step. The villagers raised issues of electricity supply, delay in repair works, bus pass for physically challenged, problems in connection with land documents among the others.</p>.<p>Chamarajanagar DC M R Ravi visited Hosamaalangi village and received grievance from the people. The DC also conducted a class for students before hearing grievance of the villagers.</p>.<p>Srirangapatna MLA Ravindra Srikantaiah said that the programme is imperfect and anti-Democratic. What is the use of sending an officer to stay in a village? The government should release funds for works. If the government is really concerned about the development then the programme must be organised effectively and the people’s problems must be sorted out immediately, he said, the programme will mount pressure on the officials, he said.</p>.<p>He also alleged that Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa is neglecting the district by not taking measures for the development. The government is not releasing funds as JD(S) MLAs are representing the district, he said.</p>
