This should be relaxed and the facility should be extended to all the students of rural areas irrespective of their family background for their overall benefit, Vimala added.<br /><br />Rs 4 lakh<br /><br />She advised students to be proud of their schools and urged them to work towards building better future. Vimala promised the school authorities to release Rs 4 lakh for the construction of Library building which lacked a separate building.<br /><br />Former Zilla Panchayat president V Venkateshappa presided over the function. Treasurer of Nirman organisation Chouda Reddy, School Trust President G Yoginarayana Gowda, Trust’s Treasurer T P Narappa, G Y Nandhini Gowda, Vijayalakshmi Anand and Kuvempu University retired Vice-Chancellor Prof Gajendragada spoke on the occasion.<br /><br />Prizes were distributed to meritorious students on the occasion.
