<p>To spread the word on the Karnataka's tourism potential and promote tourism activities in the state, the Department of Tourism has decided to organise international investors meet in Bengaluru where investors from across the globe are expected to take part.</p>.<p>State Tourism, Kannada Culture and Sports and Youth Services Minister C T Ravi announced the event during the interaction meeting organised by the Federation of Karnataka Commerce and Industries (FKCCI) in Bengaluru. </p>.<p>Speaking about it C T Ravi said, "We need to develop Karnataka as a tourist-friendly state. Other countries create attractions and promote tourism, but in our case, everything is there by nature and we don't need to create anything we just have to promote it. In these directions, we will be organising investors meet."</p>.<p>Ravi clarified that the government will not invest anything, but it will just make and monitor policies. "The government is not here to do business, let investor do the business. But the business model will be approved by the government," he added.</p>.<p>According to the minister, this kind of promotion will create job opportunities in the sector along with increasing the revenue for the government in the form of tax.<br />Department is also requesting multinational companies to adopt tourist destinations under their CSR initiative. </p>.<p><strong>Lambani village tourism at Hampi</strong></p>.<p>As a first step towards village tourism state government is creating a Lambani Village in and around Hampi in association with Lambani development corporation where the tourists will be introduced to various cultures of Lambanis.</p>
