<p>Rural Development Minister of Goa, Michael Lobo, along with his family members, visited the Dhammanakatte Wildlife Safari in H D Kote taluk, Mysuru district, on Wednesday and held discussions with the Forest department officials.</p>.<p>Lobo and his family members went on a safari and spent some memorable moments surrounded by nature.</p>.<p>He also enquired the officials on the wildfire incidents in the forests and also about how the ponds and lakes in the forest are being filled with water to quench the thirst of the animals.</p>.<p>India is one of the countries which has a major tiger population and needs such sanctuaries. The development of the sanctuaries will improve tourism activities, he opined.</p>
