Karnataka Health Department confirms death of Shivamogga man due to Zika virus

Shivamogga: The Health and Family Welfare Department has confirmed that the 75-year-old man, who died on July 5, was infected by Zika virus. He was suffering from a fever since June 19 and he was admitted to a private hospital in the city initially.

Later, he was shifted to District McGann Teaching General Hospital. He had returned home after the treatment. But he collapsed at home and died last month.
