<p class="bodytext">Pakistan should treat Wing Commander Abhinandan as per the Geneva agreement, former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda has said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“I pray for the safe return of the Wing Commander,” said Deve Gowda. He was speaking to reporters on Thursday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Deve Gowda said that people of the nation should stay united in the present situation.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Responding to a remark by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy that a Kannadiga should become Prime Minister, Deve Gowda said that the situation when he became prime minister had been different from the present, where the Congress and the JD(S) had entered into a seat-sharing agreement.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“Left parties are united in the National Front and discussions are being carried out on the prime ministerial candidature of Rahul Gandhi. We shall wait and see,” he added.</p>
