<p class="title">The two-day inter-district swimming competition concluded at Mangala Swimming Pool here, on Sunday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The competition was jointly organised by Jai Hind Swimming Club and DK District Swimming Association.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Members of Jai Hind Swimming Club emerged winners while members of Puttur Aquatic Club emerged as runners-up.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Jai Hind Swimming Club won the trophy by scoring 452 points, while Puttur Swimming Club scored 239 points.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Mangalore Aquatic Club bagged third place with 122 points while Davangere Swimmming Association came fourth with 56 points and Udupi Swimming Association came fifth with 51 points.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Ramakrishna Rao, head coach, Jai Hind Swimming Club said, “Such competitions encourage children. We aim to prepare them for state, national, and international-level competitions.”</p>
