<p class="bodytext">BJP leader Ashwath Narayana ridiculed the JD(S) saying the party was experimenting with L R Shivaramegowda by fielding him in the by-elections to the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Speaking at a meeting here on Friday, he said, “Scientists use monkeys for experimenting their newly discovered medicines. Similarly, JD(S) leaders are fielding Shivaramegowda to find out the mindset of the people. If he wins the byelections, the party would field H D Deve Gowda’s grandson in the general elections, scheduled next year. People should teach a befitting lesson to the Gowda family,” he said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">MLA C T Ravi said, the JD(S) is a chameleon party and Deve Gowda’s love for his sons is like Dhritarashtra’s love for Kauravas in Mahabharata. Deve Gowda, had said that he would leave the country if Narendra Modi became prime minister. But, he met Modi several times after the latter became prime minister.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Interestingly, a few BJP workers raised slogans in favour of Congress leader N Chaluvarayaswamy during the meeting.</p>
