<p>A man was arrested for allegedly stopping police personnel from discharging their duty and also for abusing them, at Banakal checkpost in Mudigere taluk.</p>.<p>The arrested is Duggappa Gowda. When the police stopped the car in which Gowda was travelling to Banakal from Mudigere, he allegedly threatened the police of dire consequences. A case has been registered at Banakal police station.</p>
