<p class="bodytext">The 12th edition of the annual state-level intercollegiate cultural, technical and management fest of Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering (MITE)- Sentia 2019 came to a grand end on Thursday evening with a live performance from Bollywood playback singer Mika Singh.</p>.<p class="bodytext">As many as 1,700 participants from 45 different Engineering and Management colleges across Karnataka participated in the two-day event that comprised 68 contests.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Overall champions in the engineering category were NMAMIT Nitte. The team was presented a cash prize of Rs 25,000 and a trophy.</p>.<p class="bodytext">AJ Institute of Management Studies was declared an overall champion in the Management Studies category and won a cash prize of Rs. 15,000. </p>.<p class="bodytext">The runners-up in the Engineering category were Team–St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor and the team won a cash prize of Rs 20,000.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The runners-up in the Management Studies category were MSNM Besant Institute of PG Studies, Mangaluru and received a cash prize of Rs 8,000.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The winners of various music competitions received awards from the playback singer Mika Singh himself. Chairman of the Institute Rajesh Chouta presented other awards.</p>
