<p class="title">Congress candidate from Bantwal constituency and Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai visited former union minister and veteran leader B Janardhan Poojary at his house and sought his blessing on Wednesday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Rai will file his nomination on April 19.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Rai's visit Poojary's house is important as there was no cordial relationship between them in the recent years.</p>.<p class="bodytext">In fact, Janardhan Poojary had broken down, after accusing Ramanath Rai of abusing him, during a programme, at Sri Brahma Baidarkala Garadi Kshethra in Mangaluru on December 28.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Due to poor health, Poojary has been resting at home for the last few months. Rai sought his support in the upcoming assembly elections.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Poojary, in turn, said, “The people of Bantwal are intelligent and will not heed to any false propaganda. People will vote for development and God will not abandon you (Rai)”.</p>
