<p class="bodytext">Surathkal police stepped up investigation into the alleged trafficking of a woman by rounding up suspects.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Alex (44) from Vamanjoor, and Praveen (40), a bus conductor from Pandeshwar, have been detained in the trafficking case, said Panambur ACP Srinivas Gowda R.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The suspects have been taken for questioning, in order to shed light on the whereabouts of Ananthesha Swamy from Bengaluru (the suspected racketeer who conducted the tantrik rituals), Gowda told <span class="italic">DH</span> when contacted.</p>
