Two Congress MLAs offered Rs 100 crore to topple Karnataka govt: MLA Ravikumar

Mandya: Congress MLA P Ravikumar on Monday claimed that he has all the evidence regarding Rs 100 crore offer made to Kittur MLA Babasaheb Patil and Chikkamagaluru MLA H D Thammaiah, and he will be releasing the proof soon.

Speaking to reporters in Mandya, on Monday, he said, “The BJP has offered not Rs 50 crore but Rs 100 crore to the MLAs to topple the Congress government. Both BJP and JD(S) want to bring down the Congress government. I will soon release the evidence of Operation Kamala”.

In all, 50 Congress MLAs have been lured with money. As they did not yield to Rs 50 crore, each MLA was offered Rs 100 crore. They are trying to topple the government with the money looted during the previous governance, he alleged.

To a query, he said, “We have all the records related to Operation Kamala. We have details on why they contacted Kittur MLA Babasaheb Patil and Chikkamagalur MLA Thammaiah, in which hotel, airport and guest house they were contacted. This includes audio, video, CD’s, pen drives and even iCloud."

“We have proof of where our MLAs were contacted and the offers they made. I will release them soon, in Mandya. None of our MLAs will fall for BJP’s allurements. We are united and the government is stable," he said.
