<p>Former Karnataka Chief Minister and KJP President B S Yeddyurappa today moved the high court seeking anticipatory bail in a case relating to alleged forgery.<br /><br />Justice Anand Byrareddy posted the matter to June 21.<br /><br />The Lokayukta Court on September 10, 2011, had issued notices to Yeddyurappa and then Industries Minister Murugesh R Nirani for their alleged involvement in forging the signature of an industrialist to grab 26 acres of land in Devanahalli.</p>.<p>The complaint by Alam Pasha in the Lokayukta court relates to the sudden cancellation of 26 acres allotted for a Rs 600 crore project during the Global Investors' Meet (GIM) in June 2010.<br /><br />Pasha has alleged that Yeddyurappa and Nirani had written to the government forging his signature, stating that his company was no longer interested in undertaking the project.<br /><br />Following this, a high-level committee had cancelled the project.</p>
