After Air India, bomb threats ground two IndiGo flights in Mumbai

The two flights, IndiGo flight 6E 1275 and IndiGo flight 6E 56, were taken to an isolated bay, and following the standard operating procedure, mandatory security checks were promptly initiated, an IndiGo spokesperson said.

Two IndiGo flights, one operating from Mumbai to Muscat and one from Mumbai to Jeddah, were grounded in Mumbai following bomb threats on Monday, news agency ANI reported.

The two flights, IndiGo flight 6E 1275 and IndiGo flight 6E 56, were taken to a isolated bay, and following the standard operating procedure, mandatory security checks were promptly initiated, an IndiGo spokesperson said.

This comes after a Mumbai-New York Air India flight was diverted to Delhi.
