<p>Mumbai: More than 130 persons were evacuated and rescued from a high-rise building at Byculla in Mumbai which caught fire in the wee hours of Thursday. </p><p>A total of 11 persons who faced suffocation have been admitted to the KEM Hospital, JJ Hospital and Nair Hospital. </p><p>All of them are stable, the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation said. </p>.Man held for killing woman, whose body was found stuffed in suitcase in Mumbai's Kurla. <p>According to the Mumbai police and fire brigade, fire broke out at the Building No 3, C Wing, at MHADA Colony in the Rambhau Bhogle Marg off the New Hind Mill Compound at Ghodapdev in Byculla. </p><p>The fire broke out at 0343 hrs and was declared Level-1 by the fire brigade at around 0409 hrs. </p><p>The fire was primarily confined to the electric meter cabin, electric wiring, electric cable, and electric installation, as well as scrap material in electric ducts, garbage, and refuse material in garbage ducts spanning from the 1st to the 24th floor.</p><p>“A total of 25 persons were evacuated from the terrace, 30 persons from the 15th refuse floor, and 80 persons from the 22nd refuse floor,” the Disaster Management Unit of BMC said.</p>
